Community Centre Mural

Walk into the Community Centre/Hamlet Offices in Pangnirtung, and you will now be greeted by a brand new mural! Created in a workshop led by Iqaluit design organization NuSchool, Pangnirtung Youth explored their creativity using a modern medium - spray paint. The mural depicts the namesake of Pangnirtung, a bull caribou, as well as a school of Arctic char being fished from a small boat with the omnipresent mountains as a backdrop.
